Mumbai Metro Rail has extended its operational hours until September 17, 2024, to accommodate late-night travel for devotees during Ganesh Utsav. The last train from Versova to Ghatkopar will depart at 12:10 am, providing safer travel for those visiting Ganesha pandals.

To ease travel for devotees during Ganesh Chaturthi, Mumbai Metro has extended its operational hours to accommodate late-night pandal hopping. During Ganesh Utsav, grand Ganesha pandals are set up across Mumbai, creating a vibrant atmosphere throughout the city.
With most people preferring to visit these pandals late at night, the extended Metro hours will ensure safer travel for devotees. These extended hours will be in effect until September 17, 2024, as announced in a social media post by Mumbai Metro.
“Mumbai Metro One extends operational hours for Ganesh Utsav until 17th September 2024. The last train will depart from Versova to Ghatkopar at 12:10 am and from Ghatkopar to Versova at 12:40 am,” the post read.
**Mumbai Metro Late-Night Services Extended on Key Routes**
Mumbai Metro has also announced on social media that in addition to the Ghatkopar-Versova route, services will operate for longer durations at night on key routes, including the stretch between Andheri West and Gundavali terminals, throughout the Ganesh Chaturthi 2024 festival.
